At National Velour Corporation we have been serving the packaging industry for more than 40 years. Because of our knowledge and expertise we were recently contracted to create flock substrates for a specialty packaging application. These unique materials are designed to be used for custom decorative boxes and can be custom slit and sheeted per customer requirements.

Using our electrostatic flocking machine, we created the flocked materials using substrates of board, polyethylene, vinyl, polypropylene, styrene, polyester, paper and non-woven materials, along with flocking materials of polyester, nylon, rayon and acrylic fibers. Finished dimensions ranged from 0.003″ to 0.060″ in thickness and ½” to 66″ in width, featured custom colors and a soft, suede-like look to rich velvet feel finish.

The entire project was completed in just 3-4 weeks, and highlights our long history of supplying goods and services to the specialty packaging industry.
