At National Velour Corp, we have been serving the arts and crafts industry for many years, and possess the widest variety of in-stock flocked goods in the world. Thanks to our expertise in the field, we were recently asked to create the sheeting of a flocked board for the arts and crafts industry that adheres to the back of photo canvas frames for wall protection.

Utilizing the processes of sheeting, slitting and color matching, we used our 45″ Beck and 42″ Maxon Sheeter, a 72″ Indev Slitter and a 62″ Custom Slitter to create sheeting for this project. Board was created using stock dimensions of 38″ long, 27″ wide and material thicknesses of 0.018″-0.020″.

This project required the use of a variety of materials, including Peach Litho, which features random cut acrylic flock with a crush-proof finish and a peel and stick packing; Sim Litho, which is precision cut and features a high pile with a non-marking finish, and UHP Litho, a precision cut nylon flock with a high, dense pile that is ultra-soft, durable and abrasion-resistant. We finished the project and delivered it to our customer in 10 days.
