At National Velour Corporation we have been serving the medical industry for more than 20 years as a preferred supplier of flocked films. Because of our expertise and knowledge in the field, we were recently contracted to create a flocking material that will enhance the softness of substrates, allowing it to be more suitable for use in direct skin contact medical devices. Using vinyl, polyurethane and thermoplastic polyurethane substrates, along with cotton flocking material, we created 60" goods that features a soft smooth feel with a low nap finish. The result of our work was a soft, comfortable, water-resistant product that is antimicrobial, non-porous, flame retardant, and Latex-free. It can be cleaned with soap and water, is cold crack resistant, and RF weldable as well. The entire project was completed in 5 weeks and delivered on time to our customer while meeting FDA Title 21. At National Velour Corporation we offer the most extensive product line in the industry and carry the most diverse selection of flocked goods for medical devices in the world. If you would like to learn more about this project or have a similar one and would like to discuss the details, contact us today.
